KJV – For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Oh the trinity one of my favorite words. I know a lot of Christians that think the doctrine of the Trinity is not biblical and deny that essential doctrine. When you deny the trinity you are simply saying that there is either more than one God or that Jesus is the father and the Holy Spirit, and that all (Jesus,Father,Holy spirit) is Jesus only different manifestations. The bible is very clear that there is only one God, the bible is very clear on certain things and the trinity is one of them but, you can not believe in the Trinity with the eyes of the flesh. First you have to ask God to help your unbelief, and you better believe it He will. A lot of people get twisted in the doctrine of the Trinity. Oneness Pentecostals claim that Jesus is the father and it is Jesus only in 3 manifestations, I just don’t understand how can the Oneness church believe in nonsense like that. The bible is very clear that Jesus is not the father and so on. I pray that God will open the eyes of the Oneness people and all others that by denying the trinity are only making it hard for them to know the true God.
The term trinity means tri-unity or three – in – union.
They are three distinct persons…Father, Son, Holy Ghost. eternally coexistant…eternally coequal … eternally of one divine nature… yet distinct… and separate in their personhood.
The term “manifestations” implies to me that we are talking about one person who puts on different masks…or uniforms… but this is not the biblical view of God.
Israels..”the Lord our God is ONE” creed…was offerred to show that the God who was revealing himself to them was only one God…not a pantheon of gods. He could not yet reveal himself as three because of the prevalence of the practice of worshiping multiple gods.
Jesus comes as the Son…and never claims to be the Father.
He sends us Another Comforter…the Holy Spirit…who is not Jesus the Son, in a disguised form. The three are distinct…yet they are ONE….they are three in unity…perfect unity which is a mystery to man. Unity of essence and of purpose.
And this is eternal life, that they may know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent” (Jn 17:3). Such knowledge is possible only by the indwelling of the Spirit of God, “the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (Eph 1:23; 2:22)

Then explain John 1:1,2,3,10,14 In the beganning was the Word, And the Word was made flesh,8:18,24,7:21,22 14:1-10 Jesus and the father are one,v26 the Holy is Jesus, 10:30 I and the Father are one. I’m not here for arguement or claim to be a oneness person, however I do attend an Apostolic church. I believe the word of God to be true in it’s entire form. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD and that is JESUS CHRIST according to the scriptures.
Hi Miguel, who is father God to you ? We know that he is God but according to your theology only Jesus Christ is. The Trinity is a biblical doctrine and one must affirm it to understand the Gospel. BTW, we don’t believe in threee Gods, its one God revealed in the Trinity!
LUK 1:35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
