Kenneth Copeland

“Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.” Read the rest...

False Movements

Jehovah’s Witnesses : Watchtower Society
Jehovah’s Witnesses consider their organization to be the only true Christian organization. They also view themselves as God’s righteous people who are persecuted by governments and traditonal Christian groups (”apostate Christendom”). Witnesses believe that the truths of Scripture were lost through apostacy that occured centuries ago; then God used C.T. Russell to bring to light and restore many of the Christian Read the rest...

What is a false Gospel and how can we be ready for it?

What is a false Gospel? Well I have heard lot of Christians saying that if some one is preaching and teaching in the name of Jesus and that the message of their preaching centers on Jesus that man/woman is not a false teacher or a preacher of the false Gospel .Well that sounds nice but, that is not the truth. But not every person that uses the name of Christ is a true Christian. The word of God clearly states though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which Read the rest...

The Bible is clear about false teachers

2 Peter 2:1-3

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them–bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and Read the rest...

If a Christian Commits Suicide, Is He Still Forgiven

Question: Can one who commits suicide be saved?

Answer:

Suicide is a grave sin equivalent to murder (Exodus 20:13; 21:23), but it can be forgiven like any other sin. And Scripture says clearly that those redeemed by God have been forgiven for all their sins–past, present, and future (Colossians 2:13-14). Paul says in Romans 8:38-39 that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

So if a true Christian would commit Read the rest...

Which Jesus ?

Now days the Christian Church is facing one of the biggest battles of it’s time. Slowly some Churches and some ministries are not preaching the truth. They try to make the Gospel as soft as they can so that the sinner will some how stay in their church. Now. Here is my question. If you preach a wrong Jesus and represent the wrong Jesus- will the person hearing that message get saved? I would honestly say no. You might ask, why not. Remember that Jesus asked “Who do you say that I Read the rest...

WOMAN PASTORS ?

Women are not to be pastors or elders is because the Scriptures specifically prohibit such action. The apostle Paul, in communicating to Timothy the policies, practices, and principles which are to govern “how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God” (1 Tim. 3:15) states:
But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was Read the rest...

Doctrine

By reading the bible the Believer has been shown that ‘doctrine’ is the whole counsel of God. It includes every word of the Christian Bible, which is all useful for teaching – as 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us – without exception and without alteration.

Now that the Believer understands something about ‘doctrine’ he/she is in a position to examine those aspects of doctrine shown to us in scripture which can, for human study purposes, be referred to as Read the rest...

Why should you attend church?

The New Testament repeatedly emphasizes the importance of local assemblies. In fact, it was the pattern of Paul’s ministry to establish local congregations in the cities where he preached the gospel. Hebrews 10:24-25 commands every believer to be a part of such a local body and reveals why this is necessary.

“And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one Read the rest...

Are the Sabbath laws binding on Christians today?

We believe the Old Testament regulations governing Sabbath observances are ceremonial, not moral, aspects of the law. As such, they are no longer in force, but have passed away along with the sacrificial system, the Levitical priesthood, and all other aspects of Moses’ law that prefigured Christ. Here are the reasons we hold this view.

In Colossians 2:16-17, Paul explicitly refers to the Sabbath as a shadow of Christ, which is no longer binding since the substance (Christ) has Read the rest...
