The question about infant baptism often arises in the minds of parents of newborns. Should parents support and allow their child to be baptized as an infant? To help answer this question it is important to understand the purpose of baptism.

When we review the gospels we are commanded to “go forth and make disciples.” According to the book of Mathew Chapter 28 verses 19 and 20, the Bible tells us to “…baptize in the name of the father, son, and holy spirit, teaching them to Read the rest...
Bookmark It Hide Sites

Introduction
While this testimony may seem offensive to some mainstream denominations, my goal is to share the power of God in my life.

Childhood Background
As a child, I tried desperately to be good, yet constantly failed. I was born in Milwaukee in 1944 to a “good” Catholic family. Along with my older brother and sister, I went to Catholic grade school, high school and college. I liked all the priests and nuns who taught us in our home parish, Read the rest...
Bookmark It Hide Sites

The Unsearchable Ways of God
"If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." (John 8:36)

Having taken the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience in a Roman Catholic diocesan order, my steps were set in the logical direction prepared by my youth. Raised in a strong Catholic home, educated in Catholic schools for sixteen years, and Read the rest...
Bookmark It Hide Sites

"Believe me when I tell you this, the man who listens to my words, and puts his trust in Him who sent me, enjoys eternal life; he does not meet with rejection, he has passed over already from death to life" Jn. 5v24.

In May 1935, in the city of Dublin, I was born into an ardent Roman Catholic family. I was baptised and brought up in the Roman Catholic Church, my education, both secular and religious, being controlled by members of a teaching known as "The Christian Read the rest...
Bookmark It Hide Sites

How I Was Led Out of the Roman Cath Church
My father was Cath and my mother converted a few yrs after they married. When I was born, she said "she couldn't get me to the church fast enough" to be baptized. I attended a parochial school through 7th grade receiving communion & confirmation. Honestly, at this point I thought 99% of the world was also Cath, all the ngbhrs seemed to go to our church. I had only once been to a different denominational church (for a wedding). At 14, my mother Read the rest...
Bookmark It Hide Sites

Adam and Eve made a covering for their sin by sewing fig leaves together, but God quickly showed them that the works of man could never cover sin. Innocent blood would have to be shed, "for without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness" (Heb. 9:22). An animal had to be slain so God could use the skin to cover their sin. 2. Pope Pius XI, in 1923 - “The virgin of sorrows shared the work of redemption with Jesus Christ.”

PAPAL INFALLIBILITY (declared in 1870 AD)
“Papal Infallibility” means that when a pope is speaking in his official position on any issue of faith or morals, he is speaking infallibly, meaning without error. This is a most dangerous doctrine because it gives the Roman Catholic church the authority to teach whatever it wants. The apostles never regarded any man to be infallible, only the Word of God is said to be infallible.

Catholicism claims that Peter was the first pope. The amazing Read the rest...
Bookmark It Hide Sites
