Christianity is under attack by the media, government, school system, entertainment industry and everything else you can imagine. With the growth of the false movements across the world, it is important for Christians to study and become students of the bible. We are told to be equipped in the word of God in 1^st Peter 3:15.

“Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” 1 Peter. 3:15

So how do we properly equip ourselves as Christians? The answer is simple, we need to dig deeper in the word of God. It is by reading, studying and applying the Word of God to our lives that we become students of the Bible.

I have seen and spoke to so many Christians who cannot accurately explain Christ’s Deity, The Trinity or anything that relates to “Doctrine”. One only needs to go to YouTube and type “ex-christian testimony” and hear all the people who have converted to other religions because of lack of Knowledge in the Word of God and because they never really believed nor understood core Doctrines of Christianity.

In the Old Testament, God told us that His people perish because lack of Knowledge and the Word of God is so right and stands firm and True until the end.

Hosea 4: 6 (KJV) My people perish from a lack of knowledge.

It is extremely crucial for us to read, apply and learn the Word of God daily. We need to understand that we are nothing and that He is everything. We need to keep our eyes fixed on Him and strive to grow In Christ as Christians.
