Are Jehovah’s Witnesses False Prophets?

The question here is simple, are Jehovah’s Witnesses false prophets and teachers? The answer varies from one to another but one thing remains solid, is the Bible. The bible clearly tells us that when someone makes a prophecy, and the prophecy does not come to pass, that prophet is not a prophet of God and is a false prophet.

“If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him” (Deut. 18:22).

The Watchtower Society has been giving “false prophecies” for years and the regular Jehovah Witness is too gullible to question the Watchtower. Most JW’s are thought to not question the Watchtower in any way form or shape. Most can’t even read the bible and can only read and study the bible under the supervision of the Watchtower society. They don’t want their members researching or studying in any way on their own other than the study materials that is provided by the Watchtower Society.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses have had a history of False Prophecies and the first one occurred in 1877 when they prophesied that the Jews as people, will be restored to God Favour by 1914 and the saints, will be carried to heaven. 1914 has passed decades ago but that prophecy never came to pass.

In the late 1930’s, The Watchtower Society started a new prophecy to scare and cause even more delusion and confusion within their church. They started claiming that Armageddon as at hand and the time was nearing when Armageddon was going to take place. That was in 1938 and in 1941, they said that there were only “months” left for Armageddon. Again, decades passed but no Armageddon.

There are dozens of other False prophecies made by the Watchtower society and none have come to pass. According to the Bible, they are not His and are false prophet/teachers.

The Watchtower Society is nothing more than a large cult and controls innocent people who truly are seeking a relationship with the True Maker. There are good people within the church but the church by its doctrines, theology, practices and past false prophecies, is clearly a False “church” and a Cult. We as Christians need to pray for the Jehovah’s Witnesses that they may see the True Savior, JESUS CHRIST.
